Company profile
Better Earth Environmental was founded in 1999 by Wesley Hutchen. Our goal was to help deal with the growing number of outdated computers, monitors, and other electronic waste. We had no idea what we were getting into. In one year, we had recycled over three tons of E waste! It was very clear this was a serious environmental issue. We made it our mission to recycle every scrap that was brought to us.
Today, we offer recycling and repair services that are far beyond what you would find anywhere else. We guarantee the destruction of your personal data, and do not charge extra for it. Our repair services are charged at a pro rated cost. This means you pay what you can afford. We never charge for taking PCs, monitors, cell phones or PDAs. Better Earth Environmental is still a small company, and relies heavily on volunteers.
We are not a charity as such, but over the years we have spent a lot of money to provide our services. As of our ten year anniversary in 2009, we have a running deficit of over fifty thousand dollars. Any donations are always appreciated, and can be made with Paypal!
